Welcome, Baby S!

These invitations, buffet cards and custom inserts were created for a co-worker to help welcome a new little girl into the world in a few weeks!  With two boys in my house, it is not often that I get to use the "girly" paper in my collection, so these invites were right up my alley!  The mommy-to-be was keeping the name a secret, so the "S" represents their last name and added another personal element.

Buffet cards feature a "peek-a-boo" heart and are edged in purple ink - great for designating places for cards, gifts and books as well as letting guests know what is on the menu!

Val's Favor Cards

Val is getting married! 

Now, I didn't do the invites (how awesome are they?!), but she did let me make these cute little table cards.  Her wedding is going to be in NC and they are using burlap and vintage fruit crates to decorate  - SO fun!  I used craft paper, inked the edges and hand cut oranges and leaves and stamped them with the date of their wedding.  These cards are a great way to pass on the message of the donation they made to one of their favorite charities in honor of their guests.

Love Grows - Vow Renewal Reception

Ten years of marriage, 2 awesome boys, our first house, fantastic friends and family...we had a lot to celebrate. And celebrate we did!  It was the perfect day and the beginning of the paper-y goodness available here at invites and i love yous...

A New Ad/Venture

So, after recently planning my own ten year vow renewal ceremony and reception, I realized how hand made elements made our reception so much more personal and unique.  I made buffet labels, tags for the topping jars at the cupcake bar, favor envelopes that held the sweet pea seeds we gave to our guests, a little tag for the basket for cards...  Our guests commented that they couldn't believe I made them all myself.  And I thought, I just might have something there...

And invites and i love yous was born.
